Why I Was Busy

March has been a crazy month for me. No wonder I was not able to update you my dear readers. I was saddened by the fact that I was not able to post as much as I want and also share a few giveaways that are currently on my queue.

With that note, allow me to reiterate the reasons why I was on hiatus and more so the things that made me occupied last month. After all, it was filled with headaches, pains and more so triumphs that I so want to share.

  • The last week of February and the first week of March were really hard since my body took its toll on me. I was absent back then in the office and was not able to do a great number of tasks because I had bronchitis. My fever was unpredictable to the point that the doctor suggested a total bed rest.
  • Graduate School. We were just counting the days back then till our possible graduation but God everything was just so hectic. From individual business plan to a business management game, draining comprehensive exam reviews and more.

Some behind the scenes

  • Birthday. Last March 20 was my 26th birthday. Oh how time flies. Yet, I could never be happier. With the things that I did and more so the people around me, I am truly satisfied. I have been filled with 26 years of love, happiness and so much more that I could hope for. With that, I am forever grateful.

  • Graduation. And after two years of work and labor, I am officially an MBA graduate. Now I can add those three letters beside my name. And this is in fact one great present as I welcome my 26th year. Wow oh wow. I could not believe how I survived those days and nights doing case studies and the like. Let the picture do the talking.

Hurray! Now I am done with school I no longer have an excuse not to update my blog. And I am forever grateful to my dear readers for such patience and support in my days of absence. May your wishes and desires be granted like mine.

Sperry In Spruce

I have never been this thrilled. The moment I found out that Sperry Top Sider is now in Cagayan de Oro, I can't help but jump with glee. I have been waiting for this moment that one of my favorite shoe brand would land in the city. And I have been wishing for this for quite some time.

Because of my love for the said brand, when I headed to Manila months ago, I eagerly searched for Sperry Top Sider in Trinoma. And without second thoughts, I bought a pair of boat shoes which I featured in this article.

Since then, this pair has been one of my casual favorites. As a matter of fact, I received quite a number of praises whenever I wore this.

And last March 15, 2012, Sperry Top Sider has landed to the city of golden friendship. And the brand is now carried by no less than my favorite store in the city Spruce! Sperry in Spruce is indeed a dream come true. No need to head to Manila to grab a pair. We can do so right away by visiting Limketkai Center. How cool is that!

By the way, here are some pairs that I have been wanting to get after my gold one.

Looks like I need to save up to get another pair. But the good news is I need not save for plane tickets just to have these babies. Oh Spruce, you are truly heaven sent! On another note, Spruce also carries POLO by Ralph Lauren.

Hence better visit them at the 2nd level West Concourse Limketkai Mall Cagayan de Oro City. You can also visit Spruce's Facebook Page for updates.

Three Years

Backlogs galore I know. Imagine we celebrated our 3 years last March 6 and yet I blog about it only until now. That is the product of being a teacher and at the same time finishing my graduate degree with papers, compre exams and more.

I owe you a lot I know, hence I'll be updating almost every day for you once again. By the way happy April Fools.

Well, we were still quite busy on our anniversary because of school work and work hence the least we can do is to have one sumptuous dinner for two. We were battling then as to where yet with few alternatives laid considering the minimal number of restaurants in our city, deciding for one is not a chore at all. We opted for something Thai-ish and landed to Siam.

There are many things to love about this great restaurant. For one, their great food of course which is ideal for two and more individuals. Their ambiance which is relatively relaxing and all the more enjoyable. Plus their great customer service. Although the food choices are a bit pricey, I can guarantee that you are getting your money's worth.

So here are some photos and also the foods that we ordered. For the meantime, couple shot.

My apologies I already forget the specific names of these choices. But trust me everything in here is delicious~

More than the place and the food, what matters is that the number of years that my boyfriend and I are together. We may not have the perfect relationship but I know that we are perfect for each other. And I could not ask for more when I am with you.

Cheers to the couples out there who have been together for quite some time. I wish you both happiness and may your relationship lasts.
