With so many things going on in your life right now do you just want to stop and escape away from it? I know I am. If life would have a pause and even stop button, I would be literally overusing it. I have been swamped with work for the past few days. Not that I am complaining. I am in fact blessed having a job. Yet, oftentimes, you would really get exhausted and tired. All you want is a day or two to relax and unwind.

Good thing, two Sundays ago, my family and I head to the beach just to celebrate a finished project. This is simply what I need. Good food and good company by the sea is just perfect. Aside from that, it is also one great bonding experience with the family. Since I don't have plans of swimming at all, I just decided to wear something casual yet beach appropriate as well. Instagram June 10 - June 16

Huzzah! How's everyone? Lack of updates again from Sunday till yesterday. I am still in a state of putting things into perspective most especially that I have been receiving countless work opportunities that I am hoping to maintain. I do hope you get to help me pray for it.

I am trying to bring back the Instagram addict in me. Everyday has just been so habitual that there is simply nothing new to snap. Oh well, I am trying my very best!

So here's what transpired last week.

Hit the beach last Sunday during the Pacquiao-Bradley fight for a mini business celebration. Wore this lace short from my Etallasa collection, Romwe shirt and owl necklace.

Sperry In Spruce

I have never been this thrilled. The moment I found out that Sperry Top Sider is now in Cagayan de Oro, I can't help but jump with glee. I have been waiting for this moment that one of my favorite shoe brand would land in the city. And I have been wishing for this for quite some time.

Because of my love for the said brand, when I headed to Manila months ago, I eagerly searched for Sperry Top Sider in Trinoma. And without second thoughts, I bought a pair of boat shoes which I featured in this article.

Since then, this pair has been one of my casual favorites. As a matter of fact, I received quite a number of praises whenever I wore this.

And last March 15, 2012, Sperry Top Sider has landed to the city of golden friendship. And the brand is now carried by no less than my favorite store in the city Spruce! Sperry in Spruce is indeed a dream come true. No need to head to Manila to grab a pair. We can do so right away by visiting Limketkai Center. How cool is that!

By the way, here are some pairs that I have been wanting to get after my gold one.

Looks like I need to save up to get another pair. But the good news is I need not save for plane tickets just to have these babies. Oh Spruce, you are truly heaven sent! On another note, Spruce also carries POLO by Ralph Lauren.

Soles For My Soul

Weeks ago, my MBA classmates and I flew to Manila to enjoy a weekend of price comparisons and of course shopping. It was one epic weekend that landed us to 168, Divisoria, Greenhills, Eastwood and ADMU.

I have been saving my money to buy shoes and more. On the last day of our Manila trip, while most of my friends are going to MOA simply because it is quite near the airport, I detoured the other way around and went to Trinoma. For one, I am about to redeem my Geleia winning too which includes a bottle of Purr from Katy Perry Fragrances PH and a 10% off on my purchase. Plus some of my favorite shoe stores are there hence I need not think twice, called a taxi and headed straight to Trinoma.

The story telling and all that has transpired will be shoved away on this post. I am more excited to share to you the new soles I got from this lovely trip. Trust me I never regretted spending a dime on these new babies.

Surely these are the shoe brands I would be coveting back again and hoping to get another pair on April. So as early as now, I am saving again and looking for prospect shoes hoping it would still be made available. 

Shoes shopping can be tiring. However, after getting these babies for sure they are worth the fitting, the time and the money. And for someone like me far from Manila, they are so worth the travel. How about you? Got a new pair to share?
