It's been a while since I posted a new look. Blame it on the lack of cameraman/woman to take in my photos and work of course. Good thing there are a few friends who would always extend a hand literally in taking my outfit shots. So kodus to my good friends Joy and Tracy for the photos you are about to see.

Speaking of friends, they are indeed treasures. More than your family and your special someone of course, they are the people who will make you sane and insane. I am glad I have made quite a few in the past years. And surely they are keepers. They may not be plenty in terms of numbers but I am certain that in times of need, they are the ones I can turn to for help. It is no wonder that I treasure their friendship more than ever. And thinking about them made me thankful each day since they are real life angels. Indeed life's journey is made easier having those people you call as friends.

Allow me to share a note written by a good friend of mine, Tracy:

There you have it! I was a frequent visitor last week at our local post office. By the way it is just sad to know how we neglect post offices nowadays. Our city's post office is one. After the fire, the employees are basically not relocated to a better area. The area is small, dark and hot. And the employees have to endure it for eight hours a day. I do hope they would be relocated soon to a better office and air conditioned ones. I really salute their job's dedication and their efforts.

On another note, it is sad to know how we don't write letters that much and send it via post mail. I can still remember the days where I collected stationary and wrote letters. As such, those are more personal and more meaningful as compared to today's email and instant messaging. After all, you would really be writing it by hand and ensuring that there would be no mistakes or else you will have to repeat it. Gone were the days where we are excited to see a mailman to our house. Today, a mailman would come to give card statements and other useless papers full of ads. Can't we revive this thing of the past?

Work has caught up with me again but I am not complaining. At the end of the day, I am still thankful that I have a job and earning decently. It is nice to know that I have accomplished so many things in a day and such makes me fulfilled and happy. Tiring as it may seem but hey, that's a good sign right?

Another week has transpired and it is already July! My oh my, second half of the year baby. Time indeed flew so fast. But you can always keep track of it all if you have documented it using your camera and your phone. As for my case, I got my phone with me everyday making the capturing all the more easier. So allow me to share those moments with you my lovely readers.

Soul SEArching

With so many things going on in your life right now do you just want to stop and escape away from it? I know I am. If life would have a pause and even stop button, I would be literally overusing it. I have been swamped with work for the past few days. Not that I am complaining. I am in fact blessed having a job. Yet, oftentimes, you would really get exhausted and tired. All you want is a day or two to relax and unwind.

Good thing, two Sundays ago, my family and I head to the beach just to celebrate a finished project. This is simply what I need. Good food and good company by the sea is just perfect. Aside from that, it is also one great bonding experience with the family. Since I don't have plans of swimming at all, I just decided to wear something casual yet beach appropriate as well.
