Ahead with Red

Last March, our college conducted our annual Seniors Tribute. I know this is sort of a late post but hey better late than never. The theme back then was The Oscars. With such, we were required to wear dresses and outfits that are Oscar-ish and fabulous. Needless to say, having a dress created for me on this event is kinda overboard since I already spent much on my graduation dress. Good thing there are places such as gown rental shops.

However, in spite of the convenience offered by these shops, I am still hesitant to barge in a shop and rent. There are many things I consider such as the cleanliness of the gown, the ability of them to hastily alter the dress that would fit me and other things and of course the age of it. The older the gown the possibility that it has been used many times by many individuals. However, a new rental store has been launched by one trusted couture designer Ms. Alma Roa named Fiona Clara.

Alma Roa is one name associated with wedding gowns, debuts and the like. Her creations are just fabulous! Didn't have second thoughts in renting one of her dresses since it is the closest thing I got to try her creation and also the cheaper alternative. And guess what? I have a hard time picking up the right one because all of the items in the shop are just beautiful and perfect for the event. I think I tried more than ten dresses before deciding to pick on one. And during that time, I can also rent the bags, accessories and even the shoes in the price of one. Great savings I must say!

Before the big reveal of my chosen dress, allow me to share some of her creations that you may want to rent too.

Chose this red dress simply because of the red wedges I already have from Michael Antonio. It would be a no brainer ensemble for me. Since the dress is already accentuated with crystals and sequins I kept my accessories minimal. I only have a watch and a gold bangle. The skirt is just fluffy and lovely. I really love it to bits.

So what do you think? Can I now go to the Oscar's with this?
